Shipping and Delivery

Bowring will determine the best shipping method for your order based on the item and its packaging. Bowring will ship items up to 75lbs via Parcel Post and furniture over 75lbs will be shipped via a Third Party Home Delivery Service.

Shipping rates are based on location, merchandise and courier method.

We currently ship within Canada. We regret that we cannot ship to international locations.

Parcel Post Shipping

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Many items ship via parcel post ground service. Depending on your location, your items should arrive at your home within 2 weeks of receipt of your order.

Home Delivery

Any items that are oversized or over 75lbs will be shipped via a Third Party Home Delivery Service.

Home delivery is scheduled by appointment. Once your order is ready to ship, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery date. The transportation company will confirm a delivery window between 8am and 9pm one day prior to the delivery date. Orders shipping outside the provinces of Quebec and Ontario may take up to 14 business days to arrive at the transporter’s facility. Once the transporter receives your merchandise, they will confirm a delivery date and time window.

Home Delivery Service Definition

We offer Over-the-threshold delivery for all oversized/overweight items and will be shipped via a freight trucking company. Items will be unloaded and carried as far as the first available dry area in your apartment or home or to an exterior location of your choice. Items will not be carried any further into your apartment or home than across the front threshold. Please note that setup, connection, assembly and removal of packaging materials is not included in this delivery service.

For all Custom Upholstery, we offer an in-home delivery service. All Custom Upholstery deliveries included 1 up/1 down service, removal and disposal of packaging, installation of feet and placing in position of customer’s choice where premises are easily accessible.

Please have your home ready for the delivery. Remove any obstructions from the delivery path and the room or area where your purchase will be placed. For safety reasons, we are unable to remove shoes when entering your home. In the winter months, please ensure both the driveway and walkways have been cleared.
